Puritan and Indian Statue
by the Newark Public Library, Washington Street. The Indian and the Puritan statue by Gutzon Borglum (1867-1941), the sculptor of Mt. Rushmore presidential figures in South Dakota, is located at Broad and Washington Streets and was unveiled in 1916.
